About Saudi Arabia Public Holidays
Saudi Arabia's official public holiday calendar combines national civic observances with Islamic religious holidays. The two Eid periods follow the Hijri calendar, while leave duration differs between financial institutions, settlement systems, government bodies and private employers. SAMA has already published 7–11 March for Eid al-Fitr and 16–20 May for Eid al-Adha for financial institutions in 2027. Saudi Arabia does not designate Islamic New Year or the Prophet's Birthday as nationwide public holidays, so those dates have been removed from this calendar.
